This project was about defining contemporary tailoring. I got inspired by tulip mania, the obsession with a tulip in 16th century Netherland. I thought gardeners are still growing .infected tulips because of their desire, and the interaction between the bloom and the responsibility of gardeners can be reinterpreted by tailoring the suit contemporary. By researching the occasion of tulip mania, I focused on designing the gardeners' work suits. During making the garment, I used the infected petals as a unique print pattern, and I painted its print on the garment.
